Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vour mobile application, website, and related services (the “Platform”) as a diner, visitor, or general user. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you are using the Platform as a merchant or business partner, please also refer to our Terms of Service.
1. Who Can Use Vour
You may use the Platform if you:
- Are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Agree to these Terms in their entirety.
- Are not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law.
We reserve the right to verify your age and identity and to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
Creating an account
You may sign up using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Do not share your password with anyone.
Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and maintaining your account. Impersonating another person or providing false information is grounds for immediate account termination.
One account per person
You may only maintain one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse the XP/leaderboard system, bypass restrictions, or manipulate reviews is prohibited.
Account security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@todevour.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. What You Can Do
As a Vour user, you may:
- Browse restaurants and dish listings in your area.
- Place orders with participating merchants.
- Write honest reviews of dishes and restaurants you have genuinely visited.
- Earn XP and badges through the Verified Eater programme.
- Follow other users and engage with community content.
- Use the Allergy Guard to filter dishes based on your dietary needs.
- Scan QR codes at participating restaurants to access menus.
- Set allergen preferences in your profile to personalise your experience.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post fake, misleading, or incentivised reviews.
- Manipulate ratings or XP through artificial means (bots, scripts, multiple accounts).
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, merchants, or Vour staff.
- Upload or share content that is illegal, pornographic, defamatory, or violates third-party intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Platform without our written permission.
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without authorisation (e.g., bulk data collection).
- Attempt to circumvent RLS or other security measures to access other users' data.
- Use the Platform in any manner that violates applicable law, including data protection laws.
5. Reviews & User Content
Honest reviews
Reviews must reflect your genuine personal experience at the restaurant. You should only review a dish or restaurant you have actually visited. Vour uses GPS check-in verification to authenticate reviews through the Verified Eater programme.
Content standards
Content you post (reviews, photos, profile information) must:
- Be accurate and not misleading.
- Not violate any third party's rights (copyright, privacy, personality rights).
- Not contain personal information about private individuals.
- Be in a language that complies with applicable laws.
Licence
By posting content on the Platform, you grant Vour a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute your content to operate and improve the Platform. You retain ownership of your content. You may request deletion of your reviews at any time.
Content removal
Vour reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, is reported by other users, or is otherwise deemed harmful to the community, without notice.
6. XP, Badges & Leaderboard
The XP and gamification system is designed to reward genuine engagement with the Platform. The rules are:
- XP is awarded for verified reviews, GPS check-ins, and community engagement, as defined in the app.
- XP and badges have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, traded, or sold.
- We reserve the right to adjust XP rules, badge criteria, and leaderboard rankings at any time.
- Accounts found to have artificially inflated XP will have their XP reset and may be suspended.
- Reaching “Verified Eater” status (Level 10) requires genuine verified check-ins — it cannot be purchased or transferred.
7. Orders & Transactions
When you place an order through Vour, you enter into a transaction directly with the merchant. Vour acts as a technology platform facilitating the connection — we are not a party to the contract of sale between you and the merchant.
- Prices displayed are set by merchants and may change without notice.
- Currency is Saudi Riyal (SAR) unless otherwise stated.
- You are responsible for confirming allergen information with the merchant before ordering, in addition to using our Allergy Guard feature.
- Disputes regarding order quality, missing items, or refunds should first be raised with the merchant. Contact Vour support if unresolved.

9. Location Services
Certain features (nearby restaurant discovery, GPS check-in, Verified Eater status) require access to your device location. You can control location permissions in your device settings. Disabling location access will limit Platform functionality.
We collect and use location data only as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
The Vour name, logo, branding, app design, and all Platform content (except user-generated content) are owned by or licensed to Vour and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without our prior written consent.
11. Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., merchant websites, social media). These links are provided for convenience only. Vour is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vour makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform.
- Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of dish information, pricing, or merchant details.
- Fitness of the Platform for any particular purpose.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vour shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Platform.
- Actions or omissions of merchants, including food quality, allergen information, or order fulfillment.
- Platform unavailability due to maintenance, technical failure, or events beyond our control.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Vour in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the Profile → Settings → Account section of the app or by contacting support@todevour.com.
Vour may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:
- Violate these Terms or our policies.
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour.
- Are subject to a legal order requiring us to do so.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
